Portfolio Tasting – Supplier Registration

Dear Valued Suppliers,

Our eleventh annual Grand Portfolio Tasting is coming upon us quickly. This year’s event will once again be held at World Café Live, 3025 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 on Wednesday, September 27th, 2017 from 3pm until 7pm.

This is our big, once-annual tasting, where we have over 400 customers coming to taste our portfolio, so it is an incredible opportunity to touch as many accounts as possible at one time – both current and potential new customers alike. The cost is $500 per table, plus the cost of your wines that will be presented (generally 2-3 bottles for each selection), with a max of 10 wines per table. Space is limited and we have a growing number of suppliers, so please register as early as possible! For logistical reasons, we prefer to pull samples from our inventory, unless you are planning on pouring something which we do not stock. Bottles are billed back at our true purchase cost plus actual freight and duty/tax (if applicable). We strongly prefer that you have someone representing the winery pouring at each table, but understand that sometimes schedules to not align as desired. If you would like your wines to be featured, but are unable to have someone attend to pour, we can allocate staff to provide representation. There will be a $100 fee per table if you elect to not send a representative and ask us to cover.

We ask that suppliers arrive no later than 2pm, and are completely ready by 2:30pm, as the doors will open to the general public at 3pm. Additionally, we often have a group of buyers who are on a tight schedule and arrive early (between 2 and 230pm). Following the tasting, there will be a group dinner served, and all suppliers are welcome and encouraged to stay, as it is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a meal and mingle with the Vintage Imports team.

Following the tasting event, we invite all of our suppliers to stay and join us for dinner immediately following the event. This also provides a great opportunity for you to network with all of our sales reps.

Through the registration form linked below, you may register for the event as well as request ride-with days and desired territories. As this is a very busy week for all of us here at the company, these will be scheduled on a first-come-first-served basis. On Friday, September 29th, we have our sales meeting, where there will be a small number of 20 minute spots for suppliers to present to our entire team and taste up to three wines.
