Patrick Bradley- Vice President, Operations
It was not just because he was also a Boston College Alumnus that Paul Zientek was so impressed with Patrick Bradley when he interviewed for the Operations Manager position; rather, people like Pat are difficult to find. After college, Pat helped start and run a small family company. Pat moved on from his family company and joined Vintage in September 2001. Pat was not previously involved in the wine industry but displayed an intense desire to learn and a keen attention to detail. Paul knew these are the key qualities for a person asked to handle the vital responsibilities of Operations Manager. In many companies, it takes several people to handle the immensely important duties that Pat is able to accomplish and achieve. While his responsibilities are too vast and numerous to list, Pat directs the traffic and transit of all of Vintage Imports wine shipments from shipping ports throughout the world, oversees the entire order process, in addition to supervising the customer service staff and warehouse operations at Vintage Imports’ headquarters and in many ways is the glue that integrates all of Vintage Imports’ operations and ensures that things run smoothly. Pat resides in Philadelphia with his wife and two children.
]Steve Pinchuk – Vice President, Sales
When Steve Pinchuk and Vintage Imports joined forces in 2005, an important piece of the puzzle was set in place to continue the future growth of Vintage Imports. Vintage was already a company that had long been considered one of the premier distributors of fine wines in Pennsylvania and Delaware, but in New Jersey, things had reached an important stage of growth. With 10 years of experience in New Jersey at the wholesale and retail levels of the wine and spirits industry, Steve was the perfect catalyst to continue the evolution of Vintage Imports in New Jersey. Vast wine knowledge, tireless work ethic and strong computer skills have enabled Steve to make a significant and positive impact on Vintage Imports’ sales, overseeing operations in all three distribution markets, as well as being the primary liaison for our suppliers. Steve is a graduate of Cinnaminson High School and The University of Maryland at College Park, is a vegetarian 98% of the time, and obsesses over the perfect cup of coffee.
]John Sweet – General Sales Manager
Born in Central NJ, John began his journey into the wine world in high school, while working for Carduners Wines in East Windsor, and KKD Warehouse for Lauber Imports during the summers. After high school, he matriculated at Marymount University in Arlington, VA, where he tended bar at a popular Washington D.C. sports bar, and graduated in 2002 with a degree in Sociology. It was also at Marymount that John met and started dating his future wife, Kristin. After graduating, John found himself working for a mortgage company, though he quickly realized he had little passion for the work.
It was in 2003 that he began working at Vintage Imports, starting at the bottom with a small sales route, and slowly was able to build his accounts. John’s genuine and personable demeanor, along with his focus on excellent customer service, have been a great asset to the company. In early 2014, John was promoted to NJ Key Account Manager, and is now responsible to overseeing the NJ sales team and ensuring success of both the sales people who report to him, as well as the accounts they call on. Owing his own success to tireless and true customer-focused attention to detail, he is sure to instill this virtue in his reports, and is thankful for the countless friendships and relationships he has made in the wine industry.
John currently resides in Bucks County, PA with his wife Kristin, and daughter, Madeline. In his personal time, John enjoys following sports (especially soccer, which he played in both high school as well as university) and taking the family to NY Giants games.
Ryan Fonash – Director of Information Systems
Ryan attended Penn State for their Computer Science program, but after deciding he could not see himself working in the tech field, switched to Hospitality Management. After a number of years in restaurant management, Ryan came to Vintage in a sales role back in 2011. Due to his tech background and abundance of energy, Ryan quickly took on managing and improving the company’s use of technology. In early 2015, as Vintage increasingly relied on complex technology to run the company, he left the sales force and stepped into the newly created role of Director of Information Systems. Today, Ryan is responsible for developing business processes and technology-based solutions to improve the efficiency and efficacy of the company. An individual who is obsessed with the details, Vintage Imports has given him an environment where he can fully utilize all of his varied skills and talents.
William Mickel – Director of Craft Spirits
After graduating from the University of Colorado, Bill continued in the restaurant and hospitality industry until he returned back to the east coast in 1999. During a short management stint at the Rusty Scupper in Princeton, NJ, Bill was introduced to Paul Zientek and accepted a position in early 2000 as the first NJ representative for Vintage Imports. After being recruited by Kobrand Wine & Spirits, Bill left the wholesale side of the industry for various import/supplier roles over the next 17 years.
During that time, Bill had many diverse roles: sales manager in the Northeast for Kobrand, Regional and National roles with Pernod Ricard and National Sales Director for Disaronno International, also gaining international sales and marketing experiences along the way.
Throughout these years, Bill and Paul remained in touch and in 2018 Bill rejoined Vintage to begin a new Craft Spirit division to help continue the exciting growth of the company.
