Geoff Butler is Wine Education Director for Vintage Imports Wines with over 17 years’ experience in the beverage industry. Geoff’s passion for wine began in Austin, TX where he was Wine Steward of a premier steakhouse while studying for his bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas. With his growing passion, he transitioned his career into wine sales and distribution and became part of the Glazer’s Domains & Estates team before moving to Philadelphia. At Vintage Imports, Geoff has greatly expanded his knowledge in marketing, importing and distributing while continuing to consult and develop wine programs as well as wine education training and seminars for the Vintage Imports team as well as throughout Philadelphia and its surrounding areas. Geoff has received a Certified Sommelier Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers, a Certified Specialist of Wine Certification (CSW) from the Society of Wine Educators and an Advanced Certification from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) and is currently working to attain his Diploma WSET as well as his Advanced Sommelier Certification from CMS. Geoff enjoys spending his free time outdoors and is an expert cyclist competing in endurance and ultra endurance mountain bike races locally and regionally, has developed a passion for photography in which he incorporates in wine sales and marketing, and loves to share it all with his lovely wife Monica and beloved son Bodie.

Mike Conti – Sales Consultant – – 215-788-1300 EX 408

Mike Conti is a Wine Consultant with Vintage Imports, and proudly represents their portfolio of
wines for restaurant and retail operations. Mike grew up in Doylestown, PA and is a graduate of Central Bucks High School West. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State University in Speech Communication in 1979. Spending over 30 years in the Restaurant and Hospitality Industries, he successfully managed food and beverage operations for many companies – starting with his family business at Conti’s Cross Keys Inn and Pipersville Inn, both located in the heart of Bucks County.
From there, Mike went “back to school” and spent 13 years as the Director of Food & Beverage
for Penn State Hospitality Services at University Park from 1992 – 2005. Afterwards, Mike
moved “back home” to Bucks County to manage the openings of Earl’s Prime Steak House in
Peddler’s Village, and Bobby Simone’s Restaurant in Doylestown. During that time, he authored
two wine lists that achieved the Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence, and also started his own
Wine Education Company – From Stem To Learn, LLC.Mike’s passion for wine began when he was six years old on a trip to visit family relatives in northern Italy. It was there that his great grandmother strolled him up the hillsides of Mongardino- outside of Asti – to familiarize him with vineyards of Barbera d Asti. The smells and sights of the landscapes were never lost, and continue to inspire Mike each day to appreciate wine to its fullest.

Ashley Costanzo – Sales Consultant – 215-788-1300 EX 409

Ashley is originally from the Wilkes Barre/Scranton area. She knew she wanted to pursue her passion for Baking and Pastry Arts and attended the Culinary Institute of America. Ashley received a Bachelor’s degree in Baking and Pastry Arts Management. She worked many years in restaurant operations in both front and back of house creating pastries and implementing beverage programs. Eventually she wanted to make the transition to distribution and for the last 6 years has been with Vintage Imports. Ashley currently resides in Philadelphia wth her husband and son. They are huge hockey fans…. Let’s go Flyers!

David Escobar-Martin – Sales Consultant 215-788-1300 EX 439

Born just blocks away from where the Cuban revolution started, David’s life has always been both one of incredible luck and extreme drive. By chance, his family was granted the opportunity to emigrate to the United States in 1998, when David was just a child. Through their unparalleled work ethic his parents dedicated themselves to this second chance for the family, and thanks to his own efforts David became a laureled writer at 20, a double majored graduate of Temple University at 21, and the General Manager of multi-concept restaurant group in Pittsburgh by 23. Still, David never really knew what he would end up devoting his life to. It wasn’t until one fateful dinner, when his French professor took her students to Philadelphia’s Le Bec Fin, that he knew food and wine would come to dominate his life. Face to face with a bottle of 1945 Château Pétrus, which their sommelier showed the students as an example of their expansive cellar, he soon began to realize that nothing could ever be more important.

Starting from the bottom as a server and chef at a Japanese restaurant to pay his way through college, David soon learned every position before transitioning to the white tablecloths of an upscale French restaurant. After a move to Pittsburgh, he became the service manager, and later General Manager, of a prominent Italian restaurant. In 2019 he began working at Vintage Imports as the newest representative for the company in both Pittsburgh and State College, confirming his absolute obsession with wine and continuing what that bottle of Pétrus had started so many years ago.”

Michael Hodges – Sales Consultant 215-788-1300 EX 412

After starting his first job at the age of 13, parking cars and bussing tables in restaurants, Michael Hodges spent 25 years in the food and beverage industry working around the country in various positions, front and back of the house, managing restaurants, staff and wine lists. With a heavy concentration on spirits and wine, he honed his craft in Vail,CO learning everything he could about service which he brings to every part of his life. After getting married and moving back to Philadelphia in 2011 he was so impressed with Vintage Imports portfolio and their way of doing business that he applied and earned the position of Philadelphia sales rep. Since then he has grown with the company and can often be found helping develop wine lists and Retail shelves throughout the Philadelphia region.

Dave Greenstein – Sales Consultant – 215-788-1300 EX 427

Dave joined Vintage Imports in February 2019, bringing with him sixteen successful years as a sales consultant within Pennsylvania wine distribution.  He loves the energetic creativity of the restaurant industry, and takes great pride in wine consulting, and sharing his customer’s goals of having successful and exciting beverage programs.  Dave resides in Ambler with his wife Nikki and their daughters Lucy and Madilyn.  In his spare time, Dave enjoys shucking oysters and general cooking, traveling, darts and other bar related table games, collecting sweet wine (just because it’s sweet does not mean it’s for dessert), and everything that has to do with the Philadelphia Eagles. Like any good Philly boy…he bleeds green.

Brian Murphy – Sales Consultant 215-788-1300 EX 438

Born and raised in Upstate New York, Brian has learned about hard work from working in restaurants throughout his teenage years. In 2011, Brian started to work at a high-end resort in the Poconos. This is where developed his passion for wine.

Brian loves the stories behind the wine. After years of working long restaurant hours, Brian switch careers. This change allowed him to be able to spend time with his new wife.In 2017, Brian was able to rejoin the wine industry by taking a position at Vintage Imports.Brian is the first sales consultant Vintage has hired that lives in the Poconos. He resides there with his wife Milissa and son Bryce.


David Nowacki – Sales Consultant – 215-788-1300 EX 426

Born in Europe and raised in a household known among neighbors for its oenophilia, wine always played a central role in David’s life. However, it was not until recent years that David parlayed his love of wine into a profession. After earning his JD/MBA and moving to London as part of his job consulting companies across the globe, David was simultaneously – albeit unknowingly – bringing himself closer to the wine industry. Needing a break from the corporate world, David leveraged some wine and restaurant friendships and found himself in Burgundy. It was there, working harvest, spending time in the cellar and cuverie, savoring some special wines, that David fully succumbed to the charm of Burgundy and magic of wine, and the rest is history.

Holly Scott – Sales Consultant – 215-788-1300 EX 416

Holly’s carrier did not start in the wine world, but no doubt it will end there. A musical theater graduate of Point Park University, she spent many years performing with various bands and theatrical tours. Her passion for wine began while on a break from touring with the Latshaw Pops Orchestra as a singer. Holly had taken a job at a fine dining establishment that required their staff to take weekly wine courses. Hooked from day one, she went on to manage several restaurants for the Big Burrito group, as well as Toast Kitchen and Wine Bar. When the opportunity to work for Vintage Imports presented itself, Holly jumped at the chance to see a different side of the wine business, a side she is enjoying immensely! In her spare time, you might catch her singing with the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale and The Re-52’s

Mitch Skwer – Sales Consultant – 215-788-1300 EX 403

Mitch graduated from Pennsylvania State University and then moved out west to explore and satisfy his love of nature and adventure. This brought him to Las Vegas and eventually back into restaurants where his passion for wine was ultimately discovered. He has been selling wine since 2000 in Pennsylvania mostly in the Philadelphia market.

The proud father of 2 growing daughters, Mitch loves his family and spends alot of his free time with them. He loves to ski, bike and hike and has a sweet spot for European wines. He is currently working the Philly area helping expand the footprint of Vintage Imports.
