The color of this wine is red with some mahogany reflections. The nose is expressive and complex with characteristic aromas of violet and peony as well as spicy hints of white pepper. The mouth offers the same aromatic palette, the tannins line the mouth with finesse. The result is a very feminine, suave and gourmet wine.

 

85% Négrette, 15% Syrah grape blend.

Lionel Osmin & Cie is pleased to present its range of 100% French Southwest wines, developed from very special local grape varieties. This offering is unique, coherent, structured, and ambitious for this production area. It plays on the inimitable identity of rare grape varieties, from a terrain just waiting to show what it can do and producing a unique taste experience well worth discovering.

Wine Making

The Négrettes are picked first, followed closely by the Syrah. Aged in Italian vats, these 2 grape varieties reveal their full aromatic palette with notes of flowers, spices and small black fruits.

Food Suggestions

Pairs well with zander or tuna, cured hams, southern cuisine, tajines, tomato pasta, basquaise chicken, grilled meats, brie paella, camembert, stuffed duck neck, and lamb.
